The Sacred Crossing explores what it means to move through life as if on a tightrope suspended between shadow and light. The planet and surrounding cosmos pull the perspective outward, inviting the viewer to see hardship and beauty as part of a wider field rather than isolated moments to cling to or resist. The painting honors the difficulty of the crossing while asking whether darkness and light can both become teachers.
